Genymotion File Is Corrupted Do You Want to Download the File Again

I have just started to use Genymotion. I take information technology and Virtual box installed. When I load information technology upwards and attempt to add a virtual device it downloads the file merely it always fails the integrity bank check. I have tried at least 10 different devices and the all pop up with the aforementioned error. Any ideas?

I have tried at to the lowest degree ten unlike devices and the all popular upwardly with the same error. Any ideas?

Like I said I tried nearly 10 different devices and they all had corrupt files.

I am also having this problem. I have tried information technology on iii different machines on 3 dissimilar networks, two Macs (Latest Mountain Lion and Latest Mavericks) and ane pc (Windows 7). I have installed VirtualBox on my PC and updated information technology on my Macs to the very latest version. On the PC, I have run as ambassador and normally. Between the three machines, I accept tried nigh of the device profiles and always become the same response. I have included a screen shot for reference. I am using Genymotion v1.iii.ane.

Let's try this :

- Once downloaded, put it in the .Genymobile/Genymotion/ova/ directory (you find information technology in your home directory, /Users/thirty/)

- Try to add together a new virtual device using the "Nexus 7 - 4.ii.two - API 17 - 1280x800" template

I tried that to no success. I followed the instructions below, and instead of loading that virtual device, it tried to download a dissimilar file. Then later a little investigation, I establish out that the file you sent was the "Galaxy Nexus - 4.ii.2 - API 17 - 720x1280" file not the "Nexus 7 - four.two.2 - API 17 - 1280x800" file. So I wiped my ova folder of the files I had dowloaded, and put just that file dorsum in. And so I added it, and information technology institute it right away and did not download another file, just that file was reported as corrupted too.

Finally, I decided to be methodical in my tests. I tried downloading each of the virtual devices from the peak of the list to the "Nexus 7 - four.2.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 1280x800" file (I didn't have time to exercise them all). Of those, I constitute that I could get 3 virtual devices to install:

• Galaxy Nexus - 4.1.one - API sixteen - 720x1280 - genymotion_vbox86p_4.1.1_130923_155330.ova
  
• Nexus seven - 4.1.1 - API 16 - 1280x800 - genymotion_vbox86t_4.1.1_130923_161308.ova
  
• Nexus 7 - 4.2.two - with Google Apps - API 17 - 1280x800 - genymotion_vbox86t_4.2.2_130923_161245_w_gapps.ova
  

I got "File is corrupted" errors for all of these:

• !! PREVIEW !! -- WXGA x.1" - four.3 - API xviii - 1280x800 - genymotion_vbox86tp_4.3_20130729.ova
• Milky way Nexus - 4.1.1 - with Google Apps - API 16 - 720x1280 - genymotion_vbox86p_4.i.1_130923_155330_w_gapps.ova
• Galaxy Nexus - iv.ii.ii - API 17 - 720x1280 - genymotion_vbox86p_4.ii.2_130923_154637.ova
• Galaxy Nexus - 4.2.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 720x1280 - genymotion_vbox86p_4.ii.2_130923_154637_w_gapps.ova
• Galaxy S4/HTC One/Xperia Z - iv.2.2 - API 17 - 1080x1920 - genymotion_vbox86p_4.two.2_130923_154637.ova
• Galaxy S4/HTC One/Xperia Z - iv.two.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 1080x1920 - genymotion_vbox86p_4.two.2_130923_154637_w_gapps.ova
• Nexus 7 - 4.1.one - with Google Apps - API 16 - 1280x800 - genymotion_vbox86t_4.one.1_130923_161308_w_gapps.ova
• Nexus 7 - 4.2.2 - API 17 - 1280x800 - genymotion_vbox86t_4.2.2_130923_161245.ova

It appears that the "Milky way S4/HTC Ane/Xperia Z" and " Milky way Nexus - 4.2.2 - API 17 - 720x1280" use the aforementioned ova, and the aforementioned correlation is truthful between the "with Google Apps" versions of those virtual devices. And then it would be six corrupted ova files instead of viii.

If I get fourth dimension, I volition check the other virtual devices after.

I'm seeing the same problem with corrupted files.  Tried to download 'WXGA 10.1" Tablet - 4.2.2 - with Google Apps - API 17 - 1280x800', and find this in the log:

     ...

     ...

     Oct 30 09:55:46 [Genymotion] [Debug] Local OVA file computed SHA1 is  "0609aac937c1ee7b54c0a3b604a2e38030aef92b"

     Oct 30 09:55:46 [Genymotion] [Debug] Server said we should have that OVA hash:  "b407e60df17f6d4b6f8299630e7c3298e90976b7"

I independently computed the SHA1 and also got '0609aa...' for my downloaded file.

I tried to manually import the .ova into virtualbox, and it says

     VMDK: Compressed prototype is corrupted '...\android_system_disk.vmdk' (VERR_ZIP_CORRUPTED)

No joy.  Whatsoever other suggestions?

These old versions of Genymotion take been deleted from our CDN.

You tin can download a newer version and found solutions on the spider web for that package of apps ;)
